The end of the school year is getting near - like 5ish days close. If your kids aren't out already.
Are you ready for the kids to be home all day? 😳
I am a Stay At Home Mom and am thrilled about having the kids home! I have started looking things up to do during the day and planning our schedules. This summer we are going to make memories!
To help make these memories MomFit is running a challenge which we encourage you to do with your children. It is planned to be done with kids or a partner. Debating if this is for you?
Let me give you 5 reasons why doing yoga with your kids is a good idea.
1- You are learning something new together. When we learn together it gives us a bond/experience connecting us in a way we don't have with many others.
2-You will laugh 😂 Laughing together will help us remember the time we experienced with a feeling of joy every time we recall the memory.
3-Yoga is a form of exercise. Exercise makes us happy and helps us destress making for happier summer days.
4-Yoga helps with digestion. So late night snacks and extra ice cream will pass through a little easier 😜
5-It will help you sleep. Yoga relaxes our bodies and mind as well as many other health benefits. Good sleep with late summer nights is a needed combo!

Looking at this list it looks like a lot-a little overwhelming-but remember why you are doing it. Also, if a day is missed you can always catch up!
This is meant to be done with a partner so have fun with the poses and making fun shapes together!
I am really looking forward to this challenge as are my kids.
1 thing we do to make the challenge a little easier to stay on top of is go on a hike and take 5 poses during the hike. This gives beautiful scenery/background for the poses and you get about a week of the challenge done ✅
