We are currently half way through the month, also half way through our 30 day March Arm Muscle Madness challenge!
It seems to be getting more difficult by the day so this is the perfect time to talk about our move of the month.
Our move this month is Eagle Pose.
I chose this pose to help give the shoulders a nice stretch during the arm muscle challenge. Eagle is not all about the arms though. Holding this pose properly also engages the core and the legs. It is a static pose which is nice after all the movement we have been doing for the March Challenge.
Benefits of Eagle Pose
Stretches the shoulders and upper back
Strengthens the legs (thighs, ankles, calves, and hips)
Helps relieve lower back stress and pain
Improves Balance
Helps better breathing (relieving for those with asthma)
